The Service Advisor is responsible for providing support to the Service Managers, Service Team, and customers. Responsibilities include liaising with customers to determine needs, providing clear and precise instructions on the work order for the technician, estimating and facilitating crew scheduling with the Service and Project Manager(s), invoicing and collecting payment in a prompt and timely manner prior to vessels departure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Service and Project Manager(s)
  • Act as liaison between customers and Service/Project Manager(s)
  • Provide clear and precise instructions on the work order for technicians
  • Work order and estimate creation
  • Generate invoices for all work provided by service departments
  • Support payment collection efforts in a timely manner
  • Continuously meets ongoing company goals
  • Available to work overtime when required to meet deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
  • Office organization and cleaning
  • Phone and customer reception
  • Parts Department support as needed

Technical and Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Description:

Technicians (mechanic) inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds. Using diagnostic equipment, test and repair boat engines, running gear, and navigational equipment. They also install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories. OEM training opportunities are available. Familiarity with outboard motors also a plus.

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds

Description:

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, storage or sales. This position is also required to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to: marine forklifts, travelifts, and hydraulic trailers
  • Be able to operate machinery efficiently, effectively and demonstrate safe handling of vessels
  • Use equipment to move vessels in and out of water, to designated work space, storage or sales areas
  • Inspect, maintain and repair equipment to ensure operational
  • Perform yard work such as pressure washing, bottom painting, block and stand vessels, and general maintenance as required
  • Assist with ground maintenance and ensuring overall marina cleanliness
  • Available to work overtime when required
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Riggers effectively and efficiently install, maintain, repair, and replace sailboat rigging and sail systems. Must have an extensive working knowledge of sailboat rigging and hardware. Must be detail oriented.
