Oct 2021 Flyer Yamaha Outboard Repair Training

Includes classroom learning and concentrated hands-on training on multiple Yamaha outboard motors ranging from F20 to F200. Training topics will include engine nomenclature, maintenance charts & descriptions of services, Yamalube™ lubricants & additives, oil & filter service, water pump service, decarbonizing, valve train maintenance, vapor separator tank service, fuel filter replacement, anodes, timing belts and more.

Grant funding is available for qualified individuals.

PREREQUISITES:

• Resident of Maine
• High School diploma, GED or HiSet
• Unemployed or Under-employed
• Preference given to those with previous trade experience or training
• Proof of authorization to work in the S.
• Other testing may be required

The training will take place at Southern Maine Community College, South Portland Campus
