Still family owned, today this East Boothbay, Maine Company has evolved into a leader in advanced composite construction while maintaining exceptional skills for world class traditional and modern interiors. The company’s divisions include high end superyacht interiors (up to 80M), custom sail and power yacht construction (up to 50M), military contracting, refits, custom superyacht tenders and design and engineering services.

The Hodgdon Group operation is supported by three sites.

School Street, East Boothbay, Maine
A shipyard complex of small and large buildings on a 5 acre waterfront site that supports the custom boat building, composite part fabrication, military, design and engineering as well as the management and administrative functions of the company. The three largest buildings allow construction of objects approximately up to 9,600 Sq Ft, 3,900 Sq Ft and 3,800 Sq Ft. Average staffing at this facility is 75.

Murray Hill, East Boothbay, Maine
A near waterfront boatbuilding operation hosting 5,600 Sq Ft of fabrication space with full shop and administrative support facilities. Average staffing at this facility is 20.

Richmond, Maine
A 33,000 Sq. Ft. modern joinery shop supporting the design, engineering and fabrication of world class interiors for superyachts up to 80M and occasionally high end residential interiors. Average staffing at this facility is 50 with a remote install crew averaging 10.
