Should have knowledge of instrumentation techniques, basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, fluid connectors, fittings and ability to read assembly drawings and hydraulic schematics as well as troubleshooting, test failures and assist in corrective action. Padebco Custom Boats & Full Service Boatyard is growing our team and seek crew who have experience in some or all aspects of boat repair and maintenance (outboards and diesel engines), fiberglass repair and finishes, marine systems (plumbing, sanitation, and electrical systems), or commissioning and winterizing boats.

OUTBOARD TECHNICIAN

New Meadows Marina in Brunswick is looking for technicians experienced with power boats and gas engines.  Yamaha knowledge a plus. We are a family run business, located on the New Meadows River, with a team-oriented environment and high regard for positive employee and customer relations.

Duties include commissioning/decommissioning, mechanical and systems troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair, and sea trials.  Ability to operate a computer for the purpose of diagnostics and work order submission.

Education Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:  Pay based on experience.  Benefits include health, dental and life insurance, 401k plan with company matching, paid holidays and vacation, professional development assistance, tuition reimbursement, bonuses, and employee discounts.

North Atlantic Inflatables, on 29 Bath Road in Brunswick, is looking for part-time help during the spring and early summer months.
We are a small, family owned business who offers a lot of flexibility in terms of work hours and days of the week. We are looking for the following:
  • People who are handy with tools and want to learn more about rigging and boat motors. Boat rigging experience is a plus.
  • People who are able to handle a boat trailer and have the physical strength to help lift small boats from the back of a pick up truck to deliver small boats within the New England region. A pick up truck with trailer would be provided for those deliveries.
