The successful candidate must have working knowledge, whether through schooling or working experience, with various coring materials, gelcoat matching and application, and will possess the ability to work cleanly and efficiently in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate must be willing to perform other tasks and work well with other experienced marine crew to provide a well-executed, quality service to our boating customers. Yard Technician: Full Time, Year-Round

Job Description: Machine operator – straddle lift, boat transporter, articulated loader, crane, and plow truck. Haul and launch vessels. Transport vessels to and from dry storage. Step and un-step masts. Operate powered vessels to tow boats to and from docks and moorings. Undertake basic machine and equipment maintenance and repair. Assist with general property maintenance to include carpentry, painting, landscaping, snow removal, etc.

Qualifications: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required. Prior related boat yard experience essential. Machine operator certifications preferred. Applicant must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, changing work environment. Must be able to engage in physical activity, including heavy lifting, for extended periods of time. Adherence to applicable safety and operating protocols an absolute necessity. Yard Specialist: Full Time, Seasonal

Job Description: Vessel commissioning to include shrink wrap removal and disposal, bottom sanding and scraping, application of anti-fouling paint systems, topsides polishing and waxing, general boat cleaning and detailing, etc. Assist yard crew with maintaining the property and in moving, launching, and hauling boats. Assist other departments with commissioning projects as required.

Qualifications: Must be capable of engaging in heavy physical labor for extended periods of time including routinely lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Rigging Technician: Full Time, Year-Round

Job Description: Assess, repair, replace, install, and maintain spars, rigging hardware, standing rigging, running rigging, lifelines, deck hardware, and furling systems. De-rig and un-step masts for servicing and storage. Step, tune, and rig masts for cruising or racing applications. Bend and un-bend sails. Perform basic DC electrical trouble-shooting and repairs. Interact directly with customers. Utilize other marine related skills to assist other departments outside of peak rigging times.

Qualifications: Applicant must be a positive, self-motivated team player with good communication skills, able to accomplish tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced, changing work environment. General boat yard work experience is required with rigging specific experience preferred. Training is available for the right candidate.
