Royal River Boat Repair in Yarmouth, ME is seeking a full time seasonal yard laborer. Responsibilities include but not limited to: sanding and bottom painting of boats-waxing-detailing-boat cleaning-grounds maintenance-shrink wrap moving/launching boats and mast stepping. 

Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs have a strong work ethic-ability to follow directions and have a valid driver’s license. This would be an ideal position for a high school student looking for summer work. 

This position could become a full time year round position for the right person with excellent benefits after a 60 day probation period has been completed.

This position involves assisting with managing and organizing our parts department and assisting customers. Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Someone that is detail oriented is essential. Applicant must be a team player with a positive attitude who values quality work. Applicant must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license, must have the ability to work overtime if needed. Basic computer skills needed.

Royal River Boat Repair located on the beautiful Royal River in Yarmouth, Maine is seeking a skilled-experienced outboard/sterndrive mechanic to help service and repair.  We are looking for a quality worker with a good mechanical aptitude and strong pride in workmanship. We are a Mercury Marine dealer.  Having experience with Mercury and Mercrusier is a plus but not required.

Our work week runs Monday through Friday with overtime and Saturday mornings encouraged during the busy season.

The qualified candidate must have their own tools and capable of completing tasks with little supervision, be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

We are a small, family owned business who offers a lot of flexibility in terms of work hours and days of the week. We are looking for the following:
  • People who are handy with tools and want to learn more about rigging and boat motors. Boat rigging experience is a plus.
  • People who are able to handle a boat trailer and have the physical strength to help lift small boats from the back of a pick up truck to deliver small boats within the New England region. A pick up truck with trailer would be provided for those deliveries.
