About Maine Built Boats

Through Maine Built Boats, Inc., (MBB), boat builders and their industry partners are banding together to create a name for their product in the global marketplace. Maine Built Boats was established in 2005 to strengthen and expand Maine’s boatbuilding industry, and increase demand for Maine built boats nationally and internationally. The Portland based organization is creating a unified brand that presents Maine as a world leader in boatbuilding quality, technology, and craftsmanship.
Maine's boat building industry is made up of talented craftspeople who have traditionally served an elite group of veteran yachtsmen who will accept no less than the best in fine craftsmanship.
